Rouen à Table: chefs’ demonstrations and workshops on 10 October

Saturday 10 October, 2pm to 6pm (Place de la Cathédrale)

From 2pm, the afternoon opens with “Casserole en musique”, an improvised piece performed by students from the Hanover music school and the Rouen Conservatoire.

At 2.30pm, chefs from the UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy network, together with Christophe Pacheco, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, and Killian Rosini, Meilleur Apprenti de France, will give a cooking demonstration.

At 4.45pm, it is time for the prize-giving of the apple tart competition organised by Les Vitrines de Rouen.

At 5.15pm, Christophe Cressent, Meilleur Ouvrier de France, and Thierry Demoget, master canardier, will showcase two local specialities with a demonstration of the Mirliton and Rouen-style duck (Canard à la Rouennaise).

Finally, the afternoon closes at 6pm with the rally prize-giving, followed by a concert by the Rouen Conservatoire trombone ensemble.
